Corey Feildman and Corey Haim are siamese twins joined at the nose by a big long fat line of coke. I guess as a technicality that would still constitute two people.
I didn't see that Nelson had been taken.
I go with these two amendments

also, great quote from one of the pope deathwatch stories (http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&e=1&u=/ap/20050224/ap_on_re_eu/pope).
"We are so scared because he has been sick in the past," said Vanessa Animo Bono, 32, a Roman Catholic being treated at Gemelli. "He is one of the few popes who is actually able to listen to people."
well, thats because he is the only one still alive, idiot.

Even thought the game is now closed off for participants to CHANGE their lists, it's still open (until the next death) for new people to join in. As you are joining, you're free to add a 5th person whenever you like. But you can't CHANGE your selections until the next death. :cool:

"Celebrations this year are overshadowed by concerns about the worsening health of Pope John Paul II, who is expected to sit out Vatican ceremonies.
However he is due to appear by TV link during the traditional Good Friday Way of the Cross procession in Rome.
The 84-year-old Pope left hospital last Sunday following throat surgery. Recovery from the operation has been slower than expected and his doctors have advised him not to attend the ceremony - for the first time in his 26-year papacy."

Yes, and you were told at the time you could not have the Pope because I already had him. I started this game, and have had the Pope since day one. And one of the rules, also clealy marked since day one, is that you can't have a person on your list that someone else has already chosen.

I used to play this game with a couple of mates who are GP's with the following variations:
Game lasted all year.
You had to noiminate 12 people
2 had to be under thirty (30)
you got points for the month they died in a january death got 12 points, Feb 11, March, 10 and so on down to Dec with 1.
If one of your thirty year olds died the score was doubled and an extra 10 points added (so a January 29 yo dying was worth 34 points).
Winner on 1 Jan the following year was person with most points and got bottle of goodies nominated at the start of the year.
Rules Re nominations of bottle of goodies were:
Must be single bottle;
Must not be vlaued at more than $600.00;
Must be commercially available.
good fun and had you trawling the obituaries in the morning as local identities and persons of note within the professions we were in were allowed.
Anyway here are my 5 nominees for the dead pool:
Sir Johannes Bijelke Petersen
Ricky May
Kirk Douglas
Jimmy Carter
Muhammad Ali
Bjelke Petersen is already taken, and Ricky May died fucken YEARS ago. Try again.

tabare vasquez was recently the first socialist president elected in uruguay since the military dictatorship. while many journalists have made great stock of the "left" stance of the country's - and the rest of south america's - politics, he is more likely to keep an open market economic philosophy similar to president lula in brazil and president lagos in chile (both elected as a "socialist" candidates).
it is unlikely either will suffer the fate of salvador allende who committed suicide in the wake of pinochete's successful 1973 coup in chile.

No, she's still on trial, and the prosecution has not called for the death penalty.

I think the first line on the first post should give a step by step guide on how to use the find tools in IE/FF.
Anything regarding what the thread is actually about should come after that. ;)

I disagree. If you cant work out how to search this thread then you should be prevented from entering the contest until after the next death has occurred.

OK, you haven't said it's closed or anything. Can I swap Dawn Fraser for Lester Polfus (commonly known as Les Paul - he had a guitar named after him)?

Les Paul is a GOD and they are immortal
A God, perhaps, but he's also nearly 90 years old (I was surprised to hear that he was even alive at all still) - the guitar, however, will never die.
