Potential earnings could be US $1 Mil and he only has to do about 1/10th of what he did in the AFL. Kicking for $$$'s.

Geelong veteran Ben Graham's future as an AFL footballer hangs in the balance, with the forward debating whether to pursue a career as an NFL punter in the United States.

Graham, who has spent the past month having trials with a number of NFL clubs, has been offered a one-year contract by the Cats to play on in 2005 and is regarded as a required player by coach Mark Thompson.

That's awesome for him. There have been a few AFL players who have gone to the NFL as punters. I once heard that an NFL team offered Johny Wilkinson a fair chunk fo money to try as a kickers, he refused. Pussy!!!

Although the $$$ would be awsome, as a sport it would be so boring compared to playing AFL.

I guess it would be a good thing to do for a season or 2 at the end of your career to earn a few retirement savings! But i would prefer to play a proper sport, than be called upon to kick a ball and then run back off!
