October 13, 2004 - The original GoldenEye on the N64 pushed console shooters further than they had ever gone before. It married a strong single player campaign with some of the sweetest multiplayer action seen up until that point. Even today, GoldenEye's multiplayer maps still hold their own against the arenas seen in modern first-person shooters.
And now, GoldenEye: Rogue Agent nears release. Promising 20 levels split between eight diverse campaigns, over 20 multiplayer arenas and some 100 unique weapon combinations, Rogue Agent looks as thought it may recapture the visceral magic of its predecessor.
