From the dim dark recesses of my early teenage memories, I recently recalled playing a great platformer on the Apple II, but couldn't remember it's name for the life of me.

After many futile searches, trawling through out of date and unmaintained Apple fan sites, I came to realise that the damn interweb has stolen my childhood... all those treasured memories, gone. :(

I reconciled myself to the fact that as I kill my aging neurons, I will never be able make sense of those fading visions of gaming fun in simpler 4 colour times...

But out of nowhere, blind luck blessed me and I found it !

Kickass game! For some reason it used to crash on my Apple ][ when it got to a certain point in the game so I never got to finish it.

I vaguely remember that if you didn't move him for a while, he'd get bored, pull out a yo-yo and start playing with it.

An oldie, but a goodie. :D

That was the very memory that prompted me to go looking for it ! :D

Just couldn't remember the name of the damn game... shouldn't have killed off so many brain cells with debaucherous behaviour. :p

You can (and I did), but haven't found an emulator that works under XP yet - mind you, I haven't tried too hard. For Pirate to host it, he'd need to find a java applet Apple II emulator, I would assume - doesn't sound feasible, but hey, I could be wrong. :)
