I say semi-spoiler because story-killers suck, but there's lots of cool stuff we can talk about that doesn't influence the story itself but that some people might like to find for themselves.

Haha hell yeah, that's a pretty cool mission, I still haven't passed it because I suck, but I've played it. I love all of the classes, I've gotten gold in all of them but the car one. :D

Scythe: The dildo you get from a guy you have to kill in a later mission, I won't say any more except that if you're wearing a red beret and a gold chain when you start that mission, you look fucking cool when you finish. :cool:

Yeah there's a bike one by the airport in the third city...it's fun as hell, all of em are easy but the last one. You get some cool bikes for getting all gold. (I think it's when you do it, you get something for all bronze, than all silver, tahn all gold: At the airport I got a prop plane for all bronze, a stuntplane for all silver, and a fun fun helicopter for all gold).

I think the good Reverend mentioned this in the other GTA:SA thread. It's in between the blue apartment buildings across the road from the first gym.

I havn't played it yet, but last night Drakin brough it around to my house and showed me this uber cool thing.

There is a really high building with a parachute on top. Last night we brought a bike to the roof and got the parachute, he then jumped the bike off the roof and road it about half way down and then leaped and opened the chute.

I was fucking SO impressed I am gonna buy it.

The high building pirate mentioned is the tallest building in downtown los santos, it's circular and is on the map near the big freeway interchange.

Simply ride the bike into the yellow triangle and your up. I assume this may also work for other indoor areas if you want to get a bike in. (much easier than having to jump off it)

Oh btw has anyone tried swimming to one of the other islands?

I got to the top one, but i did it in a cop chase so i dont know if it's true, but apparently you get wanted stars because your an illegal immigrant!!

Oh yeah you do. four of them. You can sneak into the airport on the first island by jumping onto a car and over a small brick wall that lines a tiny section of the perimiter. On the flight over you get four stars right away. Also, flying over certain "no-fly zones" (They're specified on the map that came with the game) you get five stars and fighter jets on you.

I just wanted to say that I hate flying in this game. It's so akward and wierd to control.

You must get used to it or something becaue I have no problems whatsoever with the flying. I read on message boards how a lot of people are having crazy troubles with the flying school when i got through it my first try pretty easily. You'll get used to it i'm sure.....man...awkward was the Dodo from GTA 3...that thing was an asspain to fly.

Ok, as for the girlfriend thing that you guys wanted to know about, there are five (maybe six) possible girlfriends in the game. Denise is the first, all I got when I finished her was a pimp suit. Of the four others, three of them have really cool effects when to 100% and one of them is needed to finish a seperate story line. One is a policewoman, so you don't lose your weapons and stuff when you're arrested, one is a hospital worker, so you don't lose money, your weapons, or anything else when you are hospitalized, and one is a mechanic, so you dont have to pay to have your car repaired at the garage or anything. Thats all really.

About that garage, there are two double-sized garages to the left of the entrance, correct? How come the garage door doesn't open all the time? Sometimes I can get it to open, but others not.

I'm really not sure, the only reason that the normal garage doors wouldn't open (the ones off to the side, not the ones attached to the building) is because you might have too many cars in it?

I don't think so. I only had 1 stallion in it, and was trying to get it out. Doing a bit of searching revealed that no one else has this problem, so it must be what I'm doing.

I'll give it another try tomorrow.

Yeah i've never had the problem, that's weird. I DID have a horrible problem with the gangs before I finished them all up. Like half of the time, the fuckers would lose track of me and run in the opposite direction as far as they could go. I've waited 20 minutes for them to come back once to no avail, then i try to run after them and it ends the missions because i go too far out of gang territory. I got so pissed. Sometimes they'd end up hiding a level under me as well, or get stuck behind walls. That pissed me off majorly.

I am starting out and had to do that gay level with jumping the fucking car to the damm music. I bet a grand and won. Problem is I stopped the car to get a bite to eat and the fucker got stolen.

Did the level again and won a grand. Ran over a cop got chased and burned the fucking car...

Turned off the game and got drunk after that. Now the question is this: Do you need the car in the next level. It appears you do since you are racing. Now how do you keep the car from being stolen. Do you ditch it some where or what??

Opposite the house where the racing level starts I found a Voodoo lowrider which I won in. I dont know whether it's there every time but if you hang around by that house a lowrider of some sort will materialise before long.

edit: and dont waste money modding it, you'll only blow it up and money is hard to come by early on. :)

Thanks a lot. So far I have about 3 grand which I basically have gotten from killing other rival gangs either by shooting them or running over groups of the fuckers. Only problem with that is you get money but damm dont ride a bike in those neighborhoods ever again...

Hehe thanks! :D I have pretty much no life during the weekdays, so I played nonstop.

Also, I have a tip for anyone who wants to get a lot of money early in the game, but it's kind of cheap. I didn't do it persoanlly, but I also didn't know about it so I can't guarantee what would happen. Welll, go to downtown in the first city with 10,000 dollars and find a place called "Inside Track Betting" (save before doing this). Now bet all 10,000 on the horse with the lowest odds and highest payout. I won my first time...so you'll have about 100,000, so go to the nearest safehouse and buy it and save, then go back with your 100,000 and bet all of that. I won over 20 million on my first try the second time around (I had a lot more though, since I had done it after I'd already run out of everything to do). I don't recommend doing it too early because it might ruin some fun, but later on you have plenty of money for whatever...now you have more :D.

As for getting money early on, I did all the taxi & pimping missions to get around $20,000. Keep your eye our for guys wearing black hanging out on street corners, they're drug dealers who have a gun & $1000.

I think I must have messed something up, because the game says she's my girlfriend, but no matter when I go to her shop, she's never there. I even sat outside the place for a full 24 hours (dressed in black, to complete the stalker image), and she never became available.

I have a similar problem with her. I talked to her and it said that she liked fatter people, so I decided to ignore her for now and play with the driving tests. Now I can't find her anywhere.

I think I found a wierd bug in the game. I had failed on a mission a few times in a row so I decided to do something else instead. There was a cop infront of me so I took his bike and started the vigilante missions, only to realise I had practically no ammo in my SMG. I killed the first guy then went into an Ammunation, while I was in there my second target died. I left, the Ammunation, got back on the bike, got off and went back into Ammunation and the second target died. Wierd, I kept doing this and about 10 minutes later I had done all 12 missions. You can even go on after that. I got bored after a while ;)

Weird stuff, I dunno. I've run into a few bugs but they are more programming flaws or AI suckages. When I was doing the gang fights I'd have a few groups that would run the opposite direction of me so far I'd have to take a car to get there, and when i did I was too far away so the mission ended. It sucked. Very very annoying.

The flying school keeps fucking me over. The mission where you circle the airfield. I've completed it like 10 times, but it keeps giving me percentages of 46 or 60 and not letting me go onto the next mission.

Only advice I can give is circle the airfield as quickly as possible (time counts), and make sure you are pointing directly forward when you land. The more you are off being straight when you stop, the lower your score. Also try and land in the red marker.

Oh, and try circling in the other direction, you might find it easier. I tried anti-clockwise about four times and failed, but got through my first time going clockwise.

Yeah that mission is a complete bitch. The helicopter ones after it are even worse. Goodd luck, as far as I remember you have to do those missions to continue :(

helicopter ones were easy i found, but the plane ones were hard.
after the circle the air field you have to circle and land too.
to beat circle try to turn gently navigating around the course, try going both directions, one usually works out easier than the other (anti was best for me)
