Halo2 - SPOILERS

Correct me if I am wrong but this game ended fairly abruptly with next to no resolution. I was not dissapointed by the game at all but atleast Halo had a resolution. Master chief kicked serious Flood and Covenant ass and blew Halo the fuck up.

Oh well, I guess they have to have another Halo for release with the Xbox2.

I mean it was a non event!
I played through , killed Tartarus the hammer monkey, a cutscene follows, and the credits start rolling! I was shocked!
I absolutely agree it was abrupt!.. I'm annoyed that I'll probably have to buy a next gen console a couple of years down the road to see how the story ends!
Have to admit though, the storyline was good.. while it progressed at least.

Final boss battle pissed me off... I was playing it on heroic, and figured "nah, bungie are clever... There must be some special thing i have to do to kill him..." anyhoo... after many minutes of jumping around on platforms and exploring the level, i finally resorted to pumping some lead into that brute guy and he eventually died... how boring!

As for the cutscene... I was pretty damn pissed at first, i was _convinced_ we'd get to carry the fight on earth. But i've accepted it now... and I suppose i'll just happily re-play some sp levels and kick some ass online while i await halo 3 in all it's glory!

I was a little ticked off about the ending too, i kicked the wierd beast mans arse and i thought "no that can't possibly be the ending" but it was.

Bloody hell, you only spend two missions on earth.

I havent played the game yet :p. I thought the whole freaking thing was based around defending earth?

2 missions on earth, that sucks balls. I'm not even going to waste my time playing it.

I agree Jammin, Tartarus was easy even on heroic. I thought that there would be some special way to defeat him as well but it turned out that you could just pump him full of plasma and lead.

Im content playing MP online for the time being.

I finished Halo 2 on legendary last night.... only to find I have to do the whole thing again. Apparently there are skulls throughout legendary (I accidently saw one in a lift so I went looking on the net for answers). They make the game even harder (like upgrading all enemies to elites, increase enemy rate of fire etc). So now I gotta play it all again to get the skulls.

hmmmmmmm.... i agree with pretty much everything, hopefully the ending for Halo 3 will be better........
