Does such a thing exist? Just wondering, cos I don't wanna fork out for PS2 just to play GTA SA, then I got to thinking how cool it would be to have such a program.

I haven't been paying attention in a while but the last I heard was some dude on a kickass machine was pumping out PS2 emulation at a massive 2 FPS ... the technology is a LONG way off PS2 emulation I'm afraid.

Yeah you're screwed, nothing emulates the PS2 well as of now, believe me I've tried to research it (I don't wanna mod my ps2 in case I get the evil Disc read Error again) if you're interested in PS1 theyve come REALLY far since I last checked. I downloaded Einhander and Chrono Cross and played them both perfectly on like PSXe or something...it's good stuff.

...Einhander...

Fuck i want to play this game. It looks pretty good. Totally forgot about this one.

Yeah there were actually a lot of PSX emulators out there a long time ago that did work.

I remember playing FFVII on my PC some years ago in 1024x768, looked sweet :)

The Xbox PSX emu works great, try that out (if you have a modded Xbox of course)

the way the ps2 has three graphics chips working together on different parts would make any kind of emulation difficult
