I choose the second yes... i reckon the first yes will get more votes though - first option in polls often work out more popular

I chose the second one. I didn't like the first one's tax reforms and trade agreement plans.

I voted for the first yes. He seemed like a yes that I could go have a beer with. I think the other yes wanted to pinch my ass, so no way to that, amigo.

Subtle.... but I like it.
I voted yes... though if I was a Floridian I'm sure that 'no' would have still one.
On a serious note, I do like living in a democracy, I just dont like the way the majority decide. Hahaha!

What a strange bizzaro thread. No flamewars, Nodbugger is funny and ShinyMetalAss isn't crude. What happened to Zgeek, and where did you hide it!

as for my answer:
I'll let you know when theres a democracy to live in.
Whats my problem with it sometimes?
Picture a person of 'average' intelligence. Now realize that 50% of the people are dumber than that poor sod. Sweet nightmares, kids.

I would much rather live in an anarchist society (such as Spain, 1936) as opposed to some faux "democracy," which is usually some form of corrupt plutocracy or representation of the elite.

Vote 1 for a Benevolent Dictatorship - common people can't be trusted to make the right decisions.

F'n oath! Proves the failure of democracy and the fact that we would all be better off and more amicable in a fascist regime (as long as we *think* its a democracy).

Do australians know what a democracy is? You should be able to rule your own country not get terms dictated to you. Maybe you are all living in a fascist regime that you think is a democracy because you get to vote. Same goes for the seppos.

I thought Australia was just 'democracy-style', not a real democracy.
"cos like we've got a Queen, so it's actually a ]Constitutional Monarchy'.
anyway I liked that other post about half the people being dumber than the poor bastards that are of average intelligence. That is a wake up call for people who think democracy is king shit.
OTOH I can't see anyone else coming up with anything better..
Benevolent dictatorship is always good but where do you find the benevolent smart guy to rule you?

1). The irony is apparent
2). I don't live in a democracy, I live in the United States
