Guys im finishing up this site design but before i get ALL the way done i thought id whore out the link and get some comments on what i could do or what you think about what ive already done with the site.

i-gage.com (http://www.i-gage.com)

My target audience is a group of people aged 18-maybe 30 years of age. I attend a lot of model photo shoots and conventions here in LA passing out cards and shooting events for my personal sites and oscarnow.com (http://www.oscarnow.com) (a friends site, he does a LOT in this area) . Anyways , email any comments about my i-gage site design and layout and what you think i could/should do or . Anything will help. Thanks.

Email me at : Admin@i-Gage.com (mailto:admin@i-gage.com) :tits:

We have a pretty hefty 'net connection at my office, that still took quite a long time to load.

Warning: main(/home/igage/public_html/content/wn_3.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/igage/public_html/index2.php on line 5

Warning: main(): Failed opening '/home/igage/public_html/content/wn_3.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/igage/public_html/index2.php on line 5

Definitely way too long a load time. You'll lose a shitload of business during that time and that was on a fast connection. Imagine what will happen on a shit connection. Plus its against accessibility standards to have a page thats that difficult to access on low end computers or connections.

I'm on a 1mb pipe here and it took around 20 seconds to load. I wouldn't worry about the loading time. I'd populate the loading page with something interesting, such as a welcome message.

its an ok idea. the menu thing doesn't work visually.

typically, any site I go to that wants to have a preloader just to get to the main page just screams out amateur to me and i usually click away t oa better site.

The problem is I skipped my own steps and just threw a good looking graphic set into a layout.

I took the site down until I get my ball rolling in one direction.

Turns out a lot of my load time had to do with not specifying the image dimensions in the image tags. Gfx were only 105k total said and done serverside.

Ill figure this out ;)

I'm sorry, jambo, but that is one annoying web site.

(Unless that's what you're trying to show, then kudos.)
