If you were in a relationship with a guy, would you consider sleeping with a girl to be cheating?

(or if you're on the other side of the coin, if you were in a relationship with a girl, would you consider sleeping with a guy to be cheating?)

I'm quite curious about this because I know a lot of people who say "it isn't cheating".

Personally, I believe it is.... but I'd like to see other peoples opinions and feelings on the matter.

Taking cards off the reserve pile 1 at a time is cheating in solitaire, but no one cares about it. Except me.

Cheating's cheating, no matter how you twist it, all that matters is how the two of you feel about it.

I assume that you mean a sleeping with the same sex as you. Your question only really explains a heterosexual relationship.

In a word yes. You are cheating on the person that you are seeing, the sex of a person that you are doing the dirty with doesn't change the fact that it is cheating.

By that definition, all gay/lesbians would be able to have a sex with whoever they wanted and it wouldnt be called cheating.

Hmmm..... If I had a girlfriend I'd probably be a little pissed off if she slept with another woman, unless of course she let me film it and make lots of money out of the whole sordid affair.

This may go some way towards explaining why I don't have a girlfriend.

Cheating is cheating, but wether the other person has a problem with it is what is the main point. Most guys that say 2 girls sleeping together isn't cheating would feela shitload different about it if actually put in the situation. I know I would. The prospect of ones girlfriend having bisexual tendancies is just cool.

Cheating = breaking the rules. Would your gay partner consider it to be cheating? If yes, then it is. If you don't know, maybe you've some communication issues to work out :)

Cheating is cheating. Unless its part of a threesome.

Unless the partner (fuck i hate that word) has prior knowledge and given consent, it's cheating. Simple as that.

Dont let little complications like sexuality block your view. It is cheating plane and clear.

If you are having a relashionship with more than one person without telling them it's cheating.

On the other hand, if you've just got 5 friends who you fuck and that's it, regardless of gender, even if you don't tell 'em, it ain't cheating, you bastard

People with bisexual tendencies are filthy sinners and as such can't be expected to live up to the same moral standards as the rest of the population.

Yes.... I don't really need to say much more. Pretty much everyone who has posted previously covered off on what I would have said anyway.....
