1. Don't know her real name but I know she wrote a few books similiar to clan of the cave bear
2 That series that included clan of the clave bear, valley of the horses, the mammoth hunters and the plains of passage.

Hmmmmm.......... I know the works of Robin Hobb. The Farseer stuff and the liveship series but I'm sure she wrote a few books under her real name that involved a prehistoric society, something about wolves and people in the title.
