screen grabs being scrambled

Okay,
Im trying to get screenshots for some games Im playing going, but each time i capture a screen shot it comes out with the colors all screwed up. Could it be my video card drivers or what? Im super pissed of with this problem as I tried to just use the print screen button and paste it directly into paint, but I got the same bloody thing.
So I dont think its the software Im using.

Okay my specs are:
AMD Thunderbird 1.3 Gig
256mb RAM
ASUS V9280 S2
OS: Win98

PS: I suspect it may be a windows problem, thats why I posted it here.

I run win98 because my shithouse computer freezes each time i try to install win2000. Win ME is a piece of shit and Im waiting for a "copy" of winXP(maybe that will work)

Im using the proper Nvidia Drivers downloaded about 2 months ago off the web. Its the final release drivers for win98.

Yeah its TA, Im trying to do a review for it, but I need screen shots first and I dont want to use stuff off the net.

EDIT: I tried using screen grabs for another game which only uses windowed mode, so no screen changes are necessary, and the screen grabs came out perfect. This is freaking weird.

Hmmm what software are you using to do the capture ?

Can't you just hit F9 in TA and it saves a screen shot to a .pcx file ?

if so have you tried clicking off the game and taking a ctrl print screen??

and as for free copy i dont think i live in the same area as he does..

ctrl-print screen gives me the same result.

Im using ifranviewer to capture screens. I will try the f9 button next time, but it is a pain as I set up ifranveiwer to capture screenshots once every 10 seconds, then after playing for about 30mins I can go a see what Ive got, some pics end up being super great.

Dont worry, I have XP coming my way soon.
