a reply to this post :)

currently I am just doing journal writing which leads to more fucked up poetry, but I am working on new ways to get to sleep so maybe I will have dreams during slumber rather than them manifesting themselves as unintelligible writing.

My novel (http://www.iekenner.com/cgi-bin/bifrost.pl).

124,493 words and counting...

/pimpage :D

And just in case you're wondering, my username on ZGeek site is taken from the book, not the other way round...In hindsight, I should have called myself Captain Banana or something...

Perhaps Captain Hindsight would be nice...

I'd like to start writing some kind of story, not sure where to start. I spend most of my spare time down the pub playing pool and drinking, so it makes it hard. ;)

At the moment I'm writing code, zzz.

An Accounting and Finance report on whether the Renishaw 2004 annual report gives a clear and just view of the companies performance (coursework).

I'd say it does, btw.

I've slowed down in my writing these past weeks, but i've been looking over all the stuff I've written this year, particually my poems. It's been a strange year, and I would imagine my words seem to reflect that.

I would give you mine however, the dog has first dibs and he really does not like to share his toilet paper roll cardboard. I'll try and sneak one for you if you like.

My specialist suggested that the my back pain could be flared up by stress, so he suggested that when I'm stressed I write in a stupid little book called a "journal" and get out any crap that is in my head the "first things that come to your mind" crap and "let it all out". I think it may be a load of crap as my job believe it or not is a very stressful one (more than I would ever admit anyway).......but at this point in so much pain I'd give anything a shot so I'm attempting a "journal". Wish me "good luck"

I did that once. It helped heaps. The trick is to write it everyday, and after a while your issues go away as you vent on paper.

It helped me quite a bit as it was during a very stressfull time in my life, and I couldnt trust anyone to talk to.

Good. Have some rep.

Now - shouldn't your signature have the words "paint", "kick" and "in the" in blue as well (for better effect)?

Here, look:

I shall paint you blue and kick you in the shins

Oh and just so I don't kick my own arse for straying off topic, I'm still writing my novel (http://www.iekenner.com/cgi-bin/bifrost.pl). 135,644 words and counting...

Your right Bifrost, I shall change it now. I'm not known for being creative.
I'm writing my signature.
