Long distance shit doesn't work anyhow. Either she moves to be with you (doesn't sound likely) or you move to be with her (doesn't sound likely either). Unless you're in roughly the same place at least some of the time it's not a perfect relationship - it's convenient, current, but not perfect.

Yeah, country towns are a whole new ball park. I always lived in the city, and after spending 5 months in Albury. It is so chalk and cheese.

best advice i ever had was to go through the motions and pretend a little it's all fine because eventually it does get better and at least you keep your dignity....which,although i think revenge pulls you down, will always make her wonder. my good friend had a crushing breakup and we bought her champagne, celebrated losing the emotional crap and toasted her future. she didn't feel like it at first but thanked us later....one foot in front of the other because we all know it all just actually sucks. but never go back. hope you feel better soon.
