There was an old Palestinian man who had been living in the US for the past
40 years. He was very lonely and wanted to plant potatoes in his garden, but
there was no one to help him dig the soil. So, he faxed his son who was
studying in Paris. . . .

Dear Ahmed, I am so sorry that you are not here to help me. I want to plant
potatoes in the garden, but I have no one to dig the soil. God bless you
son. Your father.

Dear Father, I too am sorry that I am not there to help you, but whatever
you do, DO NOT DIG the garden, because that's where we hid it. Your loving
son, Ahmed.

The next morning at 4 am the FBI, the CIA, the US military, the fire brigade, etc,
woke up the old man and ransacked his home and dug the whole length and
breadth of the garden. After ten hours of searching and finding nothing, they
gave up and left.

The following day, the father received a fax from his son -

Dear father, I'm positive that your garden is now dug up and that you can
plant your potatoes. I'm sorry that I can't be of further help. Your
loving son, Ahmed.
