in about a week i will be back in the u.s. for a bit and will finally have access to my computer and all the trimmings. i will be trying to update my website (http://www.kleph.com) in preparation to returning to peru by february.

what i want to do is all the housekeeping and changes to make it leaner and meaner and put in place so i wont have to do anything to it for another year.

essentially i do regular updates on the main blog (http://www.kleph.com/blog) but recently i have inaugurated a new news blog (http://www.kleph.com/latinnews/) that i need to find a way to intergrate smoothly to the existing layout (but, since it is a pseudo-serious enterprise i have to keep it arms length from my more general perusings).

i will be adding a new photo gallery (http://www.kleph.com/photos.html) but i am not sure how i want to re-do the stories section.

anyhoo, any criticisms, questions, suggestions and whatnot would be very much appreciated.

My apologies for not making any constructive comment, but I really like the style of your newsblog. Big line-spacing and soft, consistent colours, coupled with a lack of lines but not a lack of structure makes it pleasant to look at and easy to read.

Is that a template you created yourself, or one from Blogger?

it is a blogger template i tweeked a bit. the general layout idea i stole from another news blog rough & tumble (http://www.rtumble.com) (which hosts a bunch of ads now and isnt as lean and clean as the old days).

the core idea is make the blog almost entirely content driven because thats the only way folks are gonna come back with regularity.
