Edit: Lychee flavoured things I never like all that much. I guess it just does not seem as good without the texture there.

Yup, it's just a semi-hard skin that peels off pretty easy. There is a nut or seed inside them too.

I've never hasd lychees, but at work there is a lychee flavored liqeur called Paradiso. I've been to scared to buy a bottle to try it.

When I used to work in a fruit n' veg shop, I used to eat them by the truckload..... soooooo nice *swoons*
I've also had rambutans as well but they smell like :barf: when you first open them.... but they taste alright tho.... nothing like the lychess tho :D
