Things with my brother have not worked out. I must move out or risk killing the little fuckrat.

All Ive found on real-estate.com is granny flats and one bedroom units that are around $200 per week in my area.

Im still new to this so I ask for advice, is that a good price range for a crappy one bedroom unit, or am I being ripped off?

PS: I was bored and its hot, so I added a pole.

no, no, $200 for ONE bedroom.

Its all a fucking rip off round here. Im looking around at places and may have found some nice ones. I will inspect them on monday.

Ummmmm, I admit that I'm a little stoned, but I have re-read this page 5 times and I'm reasonably sure that I'm not deluded. What the hell has the topic got to do with the poll ????

And 200 in inner east sydney can be much more than that (sadly...)

the poll is very important for this subject as it provides people with something that they need very badly right now.

Seeing as your stoned, you have probably missed the crucial clues I left in my first post. Re-read it a couple more times and then maybe you will get it.

But if not, then maybe the tone of this reply will provide some insight into the problem.

:D

Then again, maybe not so I was just bored and hot, so I added in some options because people love options :D

It all depends on what kind of crappy toxic waste part of town you're willing to live in. Location, location, location.

Ummmmmmmm yeah OK it makes sense now >:) which area for $200 ?? Have a look at room mate finder (http://www.roommatefinder.com.au/). I listed a spare room last aug and had someone signed in 3 days. My sister had a similar experience.

Im loooking around engadine, cronulla area. I have about 4 units to inspect on monday.

A studio would be great, but I dont think I can afford that!

It might help if you specified your 'area'

In granville... i was living in a 2 bedroom unit for $200... it was a shoebox.
I could have afforded a 1brdm for the same amount with a lot less room.

in chatswood in a 2 bedroom unit, you're looking at 300 minimum.
1 bedroom... nothing decent for less than 250

heh, sorry, i forgot to edit that part out :P

Good luck, sometimes you find some *really* nice places for cheap.... sometimes they're unlivable

with the cheap place, try to sign a 6 or 3 month lease only... because some problems are not aparent right away

Take the time to look around and don't seetle for the first place you see unless it's GOOD.

My place in Parra is $180 a week 2 Bdroom w garage and it's massive for a unit.

I looked at about 20 places before I got this one.

But it depends on how fast you want to get out.

if you find some good ones out there Avatar let me know
i'm looking around there as well

minus the one you really like of course

what really sucks is when you look at houses out helensburgh way.... 20 mins extra travel (at the time of morning i have to go to work anyway) for a huge place/pool/etc for only slightly more than a 1/2 bedroom shoebox in cronulla

The Avatar

yeah, but helensburg is really expensive right now, the whole area is sky high.

I have to move pretty quicky, like within the next two weeks, its time for a fresh start and I need a place of my own.

ah ok then
and where better to make a start than in cronulla :)

i dont really follow unit prices much...
i'm preferably after a house for me an a mate or 3

but if a nice 2 or 3 bedroom unit comes up i like...
plans can change
