Pick the theme for the next photo comp. Poll closes in two days. Any entries/photo's taken this month will be eligible for this comp, as long as they fit the theme.

Dave

ps. this is a multi option poll thing ;)

Ok a quick question. At this point it looks like nature / outdoors is the winner. Since it has beeten macro, should we not allow a macro shot of something in nature?

This month i shall definatly enter. I had my entry jan's comp, so i sent the slides to a company called 'digitalmax'. they did a horrible job and the scans came back with strange blotches all over the image as well as dust marks etc. they were so poor quality that it was embarrasing to send it in. plus, when they charged $25 a roll to do it, you expect a descent job. anyway, perhaps i should start my own rant forum.

I am not smart enough to answer that.

Arghh!
I went to the zoo last month - I've had enough of nature and wild animals! :P

Will "nature" include something like "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair?

I like the idea of man made, though not necessarily buildings and architecture. I think that could become a "who lives in the prettiest city" competition (I do).

Signed. Northern Hemisphere in February doesn't have nature, man.

Good question. I have been pondering about that over the past few days. To me if the theme was nature then it doesn't really matter what camera settings you use when you take the shot. As long as it is a nature shot and follows the other rules it's cool with me.

I'm not sure if this is a stupid question (it probably is), but do the photos have to be taken in February?

Yup ;)

Have a look here (http://forums.zgeek.com/showthread.php?t=29974) for all the info (not that there is much). Hehe.

Edit: Um yeah, OK. I should follow the posted link. My apologies.

Time to get out there...
