Guitar is a crappy $100 jobby that sounds like crap but when I was learning it was ok to learn on.....Pro Axe I think is the brand on it....meh....

Bass has a busted nut atm which I gotta fix and is another crappy cheapo job so I could learn and never upgraded to something decent. Abilene is the brand on it....meh

I suck at music too....Ive had people tell me Im good but when I start laughing at them they tend to get offended that I dont value their opinion on the matter.

technically they're not that hard, but to play them at the right speed is hard. but it's only practice.
see, i'm not a metalhead so i dont often practice the right hand stuff that's required for metal.
i really wanna get my tremelo picking up to speed so i can play that bit of eruption. lately tho - laugh if you will - i've been teaching myself how to finger-pick, redneck country style. it's really fun.
