They are different.

Your title and text required "than" and yet you used "then". Please don't take this as a personal attack, it is just a pet hate of mine and I am finding more and more people online (particularly Americans whose accent makes the words sound the same when pronounced) interchanging "then" and "than".

Please, please, please stop it for the sake of my sanity. :(
