Right now I am laughing my ass off because I pulled a prank on one of my co-workers. After the whole Pirate forgetting to register zgeek.com episode, I was reminded of the ability to change the host files to get DNS resolution and ignoring the DNS servers. So I went into my co-workers host file, and redirected google.com to 207.44.176.138 (www.stupid.com).

This guy uses google all the time to search for EVERYTHING.

Right now the poor guy is going crazy trying to fix this. He called up the ISP and EVERYTHING. This is the funniest thing I have ever seen. I hope he doesn't see me giggle. :banana:

set it as his background
'hide icons'

watch him double click furiously

for added fun, if he has his tack bar always on, screen shot that as well then reduce its size to 1 pixel.

I'd hate to work with you two...well, no I wouldn't cos I'd laugh but I bet a lot of peeps would...It's like when some bastard changed the language of my new mobile phone to Turkish...you try to finding how to reset it when you cannot even read the language and haven't worked your way through the menu yet!

reminds me a bit of the first april fools day I had at this place. since most everyone was turning their machines off for the night and never bothered to check their diskette drives, I made up a few boot disks and edited teh boot sector to call up a program I made that would act like a persons idea of a brain crashing virus. you can imagine the calls I got for that one since people would turn their machie on, call me freaking out, then within a minute or so the machine would stop, say april fools and tell them to eject the disk and hang up the phone. i times this so that once they finished their explanation and freaked out more, the message woud come up.

I still can't beleive the accountants managed to shrink wrap my entire truck by lunch time for that one.
