My whole oposition to the war was based on the fact that Iraq would turn into a shit fight, and that they would not play by your rules. I don't know when exactly America got it in it's head that it was liked in the middle east, nor that this wouldn't end up in urban war?



Oh and Liberals go on about the military like they are scum, I remember an ex-presedential nominee that was accused of trying to give himself self-inflicted wounds with a hand grenade, that his purple hearts were band-aid ones and that he was responsible for the POWs getting tortured because he told a senate inquiry the stories of war crimes witnessed by ex-servicemen.


Oh and that he, his crew and the man he saved were all fabricating their story, and the people who wern't there were all telling the truth.


The Republican party only supports the military when it suits them.



EDIT: I just saw on the news that 150 were just killed while queing up for medical tests before joining the Iraqi defence force, so it looks like the Marines still have plenty of time to shoot at people if they haven't had a chance to do so yet.

I think the article is glossing over a few fundamental issues, such as why the coalition is in iraq in the first place, or whether the prisoners in iraq deserve to be there.

I really do not care how inhumanely we treat the captured terrorists being held at Guantanamo Bay or Abu Ghuraib Prison. They are murderers and thugs. I think terrorists should lose all human rights once they take the path of terrorism. A tough approach is the only deterrent these killers will understand.

I find it interesting that a Russian would admire Patton so much. The same twisted general who wanted to kick on into the USSR after WWII.

He also said they (The USA) should drive the British back into the sea after D-day, and had to make a public apology after hitting a sick solider in hospital. Then he was fired for criticizing the de-nazification process that was taking place across Germany. He died in the ass soon after. The Russians would have ripped him to pieces. Notice the attributed name at the end of the article? He's from a Western country, not Russia. The only place he could get syndicated was in a Russian newspaper - says something for the quality of his writing. He writes like a fucking child. I'm sure a collaborative effort between the teenagers on here would surpass it in almost every way.
