My daughter Ava, turning three next Friday. Already giving her old man cause for concern with conversations like:
A: One day I'll go to school.
D: Yes sweetie, you'll go to school.
A: And my friends will be there?
D: I'm sure some of your friends will be there.
A: And boys?

Blue cattle dogs rock!
I am up to my 3rd blue cattle in my life, Jesse
also up to my first red cattle-cross-(kelpie or dingo!, not sure), Jedi.
One of my friends who has a dingo, Tobi, brings him over to our house all the time, and they look exactly the same (same pattern, same jaw structure, everything), and get on like a house on fire!

Really, that’s cool I have a red cattle dog too, her name is Georgie. She has never grown up and can be as mad as a meat axe. I also have a mongrel cattle dog to, she is cattle cross bull terrier. So imagine a cattle dog body with bull terrier colours.

I think you might have accidentally mistaken Indie's attempt to sit on your lap as affection. She was actually trying to get a bit closer to your neck so she could perform her usual trick of ripping out your jugular and playing with your blood ;)

I love dogs but I dont like the idea of leaving them home alone, cats are cool with it because they just sleep for the most part anyway.

He is also really good at home. It is trained to not do certain things. But for the most part he switches bedrooms all day sleeping in them in order. Then he goes to all the couches in the house. And if I am on my computer he sits next to me and watches.

Dogs do need more care and attention than cats, but they are more fun to play with outside as well. Cats just don't like to play fetch as much. Although a little tin foil and maybe some tape on the paws is good fun with cats as long as they are indoors.

That reminds me of an ex-girlfriend whose Mum had a Chihuahua. Stupid little temperamental rat dog. Used to drink coffee from the cup, but wouldnt touch the stuff if you put it in a bowl. The thing (yes thing) hated me - I couldn't touch it unless her Mum was holding it. I would never be able to pick it up (but then neither could her Dad or brother). And I get on pretty well with dogs. They used to make a chicken stew every week and freeze it up in small bags - that was its food for the week. It didnt eat dog food.

He is a jungle/coastal carpet python and I have had him for approx. a year and he is 3 yrs old. He's not that big in comparison to other snakes I have seen round the same age but I think he was starved as a youngster and may have affected his growth.

I noticed where you linked the pic from as well... didn't know this site existed. May have to peruse around *nods*
She was sold to me as a coastal carpet but it reckon she might be an atherton. That site is great, i have been a member for a while and there is some good stuff said.

This is my dog, George. He's a blue merle border collie , but he sometimes has destructive tendencies. He's been known to chew through bottles of bleach, fabric conditioner, eat an 8 pack of kitchen towels and the plastic washing basket. He even ate 2 turkey breasts one Xmas morning after dragging his bed over to the sideboard, scrunching it up, standing on it and dragging the plates on to the floor :p
He might sometimes be a troublesome mutt, but I love him to bits :D , especially his ears ... one stands up, the other is all floppy :)
Awww, he's a real cutey! Did you decide to call him George so you could "hug him and squeeze him and love him and pet him ... etc"???

Yeah, he probably does get bored. He used to have someone at home with him all the time, but since I now have a full time job, Im out, tho I try and pop home for lunch when I can. One of the first things I do when i get home is to give him one of his doggy treats ( if the sneaky fuck hasnt already found them and had a munch :P ) and then I take him for a walk, or we play in the garden with his rope toy :)
After looking through some folders with old photos in, I found this one of my youngest brother, and sister. I know they're not *my* children, but I still like the picture :p (Tom is 4, Chloe is 9).

When Siberian Huskies shed their coat it all comes out in clumps at a time. Its over in 2 weeks and all their under coat is gone. I could not brush it out of her and just let it hang off her and let her look all patchy. Then everytime you patt her you have to brush the fluff off your clothes.
You know in cartoons when something starts to run and leaves a cloud of smoke behind. Well she leaves a cloud of fur then a trial.

Subjecting your cat to second or third degree burns will also prevent it from growing nasty sheddy hair.
It's advisable to burn small areas of your cat at a time to prevent it from dying.

I've heard that also works on Pugs and then they have an excuse for their face looking like it's pressed up against glass :p

First is of Tabitha (or "midget" as my housemat calls her) asleep on the bed. The one eye open thing was a reaction to the flash I think b/c she was still asleep. So cute.. I love how her coat is white underneath and black on top. :D
The second I took about 30 minutes ago when the cats were playing. Theo lept on the kitten, held her down.. then started cleaning her. :D Myself, astro, Sambo, rin and Blair just sat there amazed. It was so.. weird!
I think he gets it from his dad b/c he used to do that too. CUTE ^_^

Dont mess with Daisy May aka Dizzy Dizz.
this is one of our poppets. she got mauled by a dog about 18 months ago, when she was about 6 or 7 months old.
our vet was not very encouraging, and wanted to euthenase. Luckily Tyrany and Mrs Tyrany came to see her, and suggested a second opinion. Mrs Tyrany is a vet nurse so we were able to see a specialist she knows.
Anyway, the upshot was that Argent had a fractured verterbra but it was not displaced. it was at the base of her spine, near where the tail starts. No surgery required after all, but she did have to spend 8 weeks in a body cast.
15482
she is fine now, a lovely friendly cat. some times she doesn't have as much control over her back right leg as she would have before the accident - it seems to slip or giveway a bit if it is cold or if she has been resting for a while. but she is so gorgeous, and this is a really cool pic of her :)

My beautiful dog who loves me even when I'm being unloveable.
He's a Aussie cattle dog, a.k.a. a Blue heeler. Mottled blueish grey coat, brown-golden eyes to drown in, black patch over one eye and he weighs about 50 kg's.
So protective of me it's almost embarrassing. He's been police trained when he was a puppy and there's one command that, thank God, I've never had to use yet. I believe he'd kill whoever if I did.
He's supposed to sleep in the special doggy bed I bought for him but about 2 a.m. I'll hear him sneak into my room and if I put the light on he tries to pretend he's invisible. He covers his eyes with his front paws and it's like if I can't see you then you can't see me and I won't get booted out of here.
I've also got 2 cats and a kitten. Mornings are quite scary with 16 paws following my every move while I try to wake up properly and get my shot of caffeine.

It's Jeremy the potato!

I picked him myself. He's my favourite.
I just have to keep an eye out for Keith, his evil twin brother, despoiler of the potato field!

I scored myself a new pet cocky!
Well maybe, if no owner comes forward...
I haven't come up with a name for him yet, but he is extremely friendly and fearless.
My mini-foxy doesn't scare him a bit.

Chloé is just over 7 months
Millie, who is a midget (even for her breed) is funny, because people ask 'how old is your puppy', and deapan wereply 'nearly two and a half years old'

the kitten was found on the side of the road by some dude who was doing work at our neighbours house. 'Dasha' (the name of the kitten) decided to crawl into this dudes center console thing and get herself stuck. A day later he returns, this morning, and hands me the kitten telling me the whole story n shit. our neighbours have decided to take the cat cos theirs just died ;_;.
she's been named 'dasha' a) christmas b) shes escaped/gotten lost 6 times today.
shes a very very very lucky kitten, being so young and depending on how long shes been away from mum she couldve died.

Obligatory spermlets shot, the red eyes they got from their mothers side ....
that last post was circa march-2005
Now I've been told: you should put up a more recent pic of the boys they've grown a lot since this pic was taken
So here's a more recent one, fun because it plays a little illusionary magic by putting the bigger one at the rear making the smaller one seemingly bigger (or whatever)
