NABLUS, March 8, 2005 (IslamOnline.net) – Extremist Jewish settlers are planning to storm Al-Aqsa Mosque, Islam's third holiest place, by next April, according to Al-Aqsa Institution for Reconstruction of Islamic Sanctities.

Leaders of Jewish settlers have declared some 10,000 settlers are planning to storm the holy mosque in a bid to perform Jewish “religious rituals” in the holy place, they claim to be the site of “Temple Mount”.

Leaflets are being distributed by Jewish settlers to urge Jews to join the storming of the Islamic holy site on April 10.

Had you actually read the article instead of looking for reasons to dismiss it, you would have come across some references upon which the article was based. For example:

All Israeli sources. These articles talk about jewish extremists planning attacks on the temple mount. There is no mention of the 10,000 jews on april 10. However that is a comment attributed to an extremist leader on israeli TV.

Lets now have a look at www.templemountfaithful.org The goal of these people is "The goal of the Temple Mount Faithful is the building of the Third Temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem in our lifetime in accordance with the Word of G-d and all the Hebrew prophets and the liberation of the Temple Mount from Arab (Islamic) occupation so that it may be consecrated to the Name of G-d."

As you can see, the israeli intelligence services think it's possible. The place has been attacked before and there are people willing to attack it again.
