Last night on my bus ride home I saw two utterly dispicable acts carried out by 2 people.
I was on one of those new buses that are wheel-chair accessible (ie they have a fold out ramp at the door as well as a spot that has 3 fold down chairs that have to be vacated and folded up when a wheelchair-bound passenger comes on board).
There was a guy in a wheel chair, sitting in the wheel chair spot. Then this fat bitch gets on the bus, sees there are no spare seats, so she goes up to the wheelchair spot, folds down the last chair (forcing the wheelchair dude to move slightly) and goes on sits on it. Now she said nothing. People looked at her, horrified, but no one said anything. That was the first act.
The second act happened when the guy in the chair wanted to get off. As always, people at bus stops like to jump on the bus as soon as the doors open without any regard towards passengers who may like to exit. Anyway, the doors open and 3 people get on as the wheel chair guy is struggling to get out of his spot due to person number one still sitting on her fat arse leaving him little room to move. He finally got out of the spot only to be stuck with the new passengers blocking the doorway. 2 of these people got off the bus to get out of the way, while the other simply stood there, looking at this guy as if to say "you've got to be kidding if you think i'm going to move for you." This bitch would have been in her early to mid 20's and looked as though she thought she was god's gift to the world. She continued to stand there until the bus driver actually asked her to please move off the bus so the guy in the wheelchair could get off (he couldn't get to the back door as there were too many standing passengers). So she got off, but obviously was not happy about it because when she got back on she stomped her way up towards the back of the bus. I shook my head at her as she went past me. I almost expected her to snap at me, but she didn't.
So that's it. In a supposedly tolerant society, the simple act of a wheelchair-bound man is made difficult by two fucked up individuals. I know this sounds harsh, but i hope something happens to those two people and they end up in wheelchairs, and then they can see how hard life can be!!! :spingo:
