does anybody know of a simple CMS solution that you can up date web pages with, that doesnt use a database?

all i need is for somebody with out html knowledge or any web programming knowledge what so ever to be able to add text and a couple of images to the site.

Yeah go for Contribute. Set up a template in Dreamweaver. lock the sucker down so they can only fuck with predefined areas on the page and let em loose.

So simple to use that if they can't... well then there's no hope for them at all.
