Could we get picture attachments to be displayed full size again? Nowadays I usually just upload a pic to my Optus space and link it from there, rather than attach because the thumbs just don't have the same oomph. It just keeps the flow of everything smooth because readers don't have to open the pic and go back to reading the rest of the thread.

Here's what I propose:
1 attachment - Full sized pic is displayed, like it used to be.
>2 attachments - Thumb sized pics displayed, like we have now.

There are plenty of free image hosts out there now too... http://www.Imageshack.us (if my memory serves me correctly) will host the images for ever providing they are accessed once a month.
I use it all the time and it serves me perfectly (and saves on precious server space!)

there has never been a full size attachment thing. Its just that, people posting links to the images using the IMG bbcode. You can also use the gallery.zgeek.com to put your images for use on this site.

Yeah there has! Attachments used to always display fullsize, then one day they changed to thumbs. I'm sure of it.... <insert my sig here>

Thank you! I thought I was going crazy there for a minute. I remember attachments being full sized and it wasn't that long ago that the change was made.

I had a look at the gallery and I can't see an obvious place where I could put pics for post images that I would like to display in their full glory (i.e. not as attachments). Any suggestions on where I should put them (besides the obvious smart ass answer)?
