The Pentagon has released the summary of a top secret Pentagon document, which sketches America's agenda for global military domination.

This redirection of America's military strategy seems to have passed virtually unnoticed. With the exception of The Wall Street Journal (see below in annex), not a word has been mentioned in the US media.

Are you denying the report exists? You stupid braindead child. Anything conflicting with your views is automatically a made up story.

noddy fails to understand that these things are put up for discussion as this is part of the discussion forum. If he doesnt have anything to contribute to the thread but saying the same old shit that its biased or whatever, he should just shut the fuck up. Even if something isnt true, it doesnt mean what issues are raised shouldnt be discussed.

America couldn't dominate a quadrapligic gimp, even if they had the UK holding the whip for them.

Wait and see, people. China's gonna win it all

I remember a line a maths teacher of mine used a lot in primary school:
"Titter not at the mentally afflicted."

I think there's something in that for all of us...

The document explicitly acknowledges America's global military mandate, beyond regional war theaters. This mandate also includes military operations directed against countries, which are not hostile to America, but which are considered strategic from the point of view of US interests

Oh FUCK!

US military involvement is not limited to the Middle East. The sending in of special forces in military policing operations, under the disguise of peace-keeping and training, is contemplated in all major regions of the World. A large part of these activities, however, will most probably be carried out by private mercenary companies on contract to the Pentagon, NATO or the United Nations.

Bet the UN will be well up for that. NOT!

"[A]t the core of this strategy is the belief that the US must maintain such a large lead in crucial technologies that growing powers will conclude that it is too expensive for these countries to even think about trying to run with the big dog. They will realize that it is not worth sacrificing their economic growth, said one defense consultant who was hired to draft sections of the document. " (Ibid, emphasis added)

Whilst the US civilian economy is farmed out to the far east thus destroying their home manufacturing capability (except weapons)
Weapons will inevitably be sold to other countries (have to be, economically) thus providing the need for more and 'better' weapons systems Ad Nauseum...

Oh Aardvark, I really disagree. I am almost certain the American COULD dominate a quadrapeligic gimp! (As long as he didn't have a gun in his hand, well as long as he couldn't actually shoot it, well, or threaten with it) Ok, so maybe they can't, but that's no reason to poke fun at them, is it?

Aardvark is just being mean.

Pure speculation, but I believe Bush belongs to some supersecret cult (Illuminati-like) that is trying to start the One World Order vision. Or he believes bible too much that he is actually trying to act out the part of the anti-christ... just to show he can.

But global domination won't come easy. Not with nuclear technology so easily accessible nowadays. This is part of the reason why Bush is pushing for the missile shield and star wars strategy. Nullify them missiles, and you can go on bullying everyone else.

Second that transcript says nothing.

It never mentions anything in that article. It is just two people talking about nothing of much relevance.

Besides, people joke all the time. I was talking to someone today on our deficit. I said we should just sell Canada and everyone I told that to said it wasn't a bad idea.

In the document, Mr. Rumsfeld tells the military to focus on four "core problems," none of them involving traditional military confrontations. The services are told to develop forces that can: build partnerships with failing states to defeat internal terrorist threats; defend the homeland, including offensive strikes against terrorist groups planning attacks; influence the choices of countries at a strategic crossroads, such as China and Russia; and prevent the acquisition of weapons of mass destruction by hostile states and terrorist groups.

The USA wants to use its military to address what it views as the biggest security threats in the world against its interests. That is classically what the USA has always done.

For instance China is currently threatening Taiwan. The USA wants to use its military to intimidate China into backing down. Afghanistan is facing terrorist threats, the USA wants to use its military to stabilize that country. North Korea and Iran are developing nuclear weapons, the USA wants to use its military to intimidate them into stopping.

What was controversial about this again?

While these reasons are the "public face" for all American actions, you must admit that there are ulterior motives. Most countries, given the resources and power that USA has currently would go towards the path of domination and self preservation. USA is no different. Most of the actions are for self gains. One simply have to look at other countries that have more problems, and more deaths (civil war, plaque etc) and yet USA chose those few countries with relatively low threat/danger to focus their operations on.

The difference is, right now America is no longer moving towards world domination passively, but is active in influencing the events of the world. No longer America work behind the scenes (with CIA etc) like it used to and in effect, it has broken a bunch of rules set by the UN.

Of course it's not going to list all the things in the document. It's probably some bigass book type of thing. The meeting was just some PR shit like 'we are seeking to establish better relations' or some crap like that. But the start does mention the National Defense Strategy and the National Military Strategy documents. So they ARE real. That is the point. If you want a hard copy, go call the pentagon.

Anyhow, you're now going on my ignore list i've had enough of your shit

Common sense.

Tolerance sucks, acceptance should never been mandatory.

Common sense is what gets everything.

Like some Feminists having problems with George Bush about Title IX. This says that if a school has a male wrestling team it needs female wrestling team and so on. Well Bush changed the meaning slightly to where if no female students want a wrestling team then there will not be a female wrestling team. so Feminists think that is sexist. That goes beyond common sense.

If I cannot talk about someone of another race negatively without someone saying I am racists is beyond common sense. If I call a black guy an asshole you would label me a racists. You are in fact the racists. I am going by the person, calling a single person an asshole. You by saying I am racists are saying all Black people alike, making you the racists.

You are someone who probably believes on Affirmative Action. which is in itself Racist. It is basically saying "Because you are black you are automatically stupid and you will get a leg up" or "Because you are a woman you are less qualified so we will allow you as someone less qualified to get the job over that more qualified male."
