Good read but he did not consider one possibility the 'bachelor factor', by 2012 China will have some 60 million more men between the ages of 20 and 30 than women. This imbalance will create a restless class unable to ever marry and may lead to internal problems that might force China into war. Men with no possibilty to ever marry may see that attack of China's neighbors a a possible way to obtain female companionship. An army of that size ( even if poorly equipped) would be a a force that could sweep aside most modern armies by sheer weight.
