Official Global ZMeet 2005 thread of authentic official super happy time

Hahahahaha, you fools are allowing me to organise this.

Anyway. The global ZMeet will happen on the weekend of September 10th and 11th. This is a Saturday and Sunday as it is common for these days to coincide with weekends. This happens all around the world thus the global context of the "ZMeet".

The meet will happen in Sydney, but others are more than welcome to organise other events in other parts of the world. My idea for the weekend is for Saturday to be a day around Sydney and Sunday to be a day out of Sydney for the touristy things.

Saturday
We start with a breakfast around 9 or 10am in Newtown or surrounding areas. From there we head into the city doing stuff like the powerhouse, Luna park, zoo and then middle head. There is lawn bowls place round Lanecove that allows you to drink and bowl so that might be a good idea to finish up the day before heading back into the city for dinner and boozen.

Doing city stuff is good for public transport.

Sunday
We all have brekkie again (this is sort of the meeting point of the day) and then we head out for a cruise either to the Blue Mountains, south or north coast. Like Nora head etc. We’d take a few esky’s of meat and beer and have a BBQ at a cool spot. I think Imp wants to have a do at the ZHouse so maybe it could be back to hers afterward.

We'd need to organise cars and who can drive who.

... and Asmo, dear - hope you're not gonna spend ALL your time CBD or North! U gotta stay at our joint at least 1 night or it's a spare room for however long u like - we live in Parramatta...

If Asmo doesn't need it we can have 1 or 2 ppl sleep in my magick room but there's no bed (however, it's wired for sound & online!) however, we got heaps of doonas, pillows & sleeping bags.... and the bus to Parra's on the corner, you can get to CBD in an hour or less. Then again, I'll also have the car, so....

... lemme know before time grows short; I like to know at least 1 mo advance (not you, Asmo! I'm gonna meetcha finally if I gotta swim to Antartica!) since I'm a nervous person and need another cup of coffee .....
