Shout out some suggestions, so far we're heard a few, like lawn bowls, drinking, group breakfasts to get everyone together, more drinking, pub outings with more drinking, city sights, and even more drinking. :D

Trying to keep in mind its a get together for people to catch up and meet up, and some may be under 18, we need a mix of things to do and see, catering to even the stingiest student budget :p

At this stage we're looking at Saturday and Sunday, but people may stay longer than that, so we might be able to get more done.

I've had a look for some special sydney events happening in Sept, but its still fairly early so my suggestions so far would be seconding the idea for lawn bowls, its cheap food and drink and a cool way to chat and have a beer with people.
Some harbour cruises are pretty cheap for round trips ($20-$30 for 1 to 3 hours) and some even include FREE BEER :woah:, it could be a nice way to show people Sydney and still be in keeping with that all important drinking theme. ;)
We want to have a private rendesvous with Imp (grr baby) and the fellow zhouse residents to talk about what things they might like to do for the occasion, being zparty house central and all.

So tell me some more! Nothings set yet, and we want everyone to be as happy as possible with whats going on :)

If the weather is nice I think a Sunday lunchtime picnic in the botanical gardens would be a splendid idea...it's nice and central, all ages welcome and those of age can drink wine in there! Plus all picnic needs can be purchased at woolies/coles, all we need to bring is some cutlery and a blanket (and maybe a big boom box yo).

Of course, if the weather is shit then my suggestion is useless :p

What about that abandoned tunnel tour? Or is it too late to book that? I would be up for that. Alternatively, we could visit Poiter in West Poitersham. :D

I don't think you can do that tour anymore. I think it was only on the third weekend of every month anyway.

many would be aware of the bondi to bronte walk, and some would also know that you can go all the way round to coogee or possibly even maroubra (i haven't ventured that far yet)... but say, a walk from coogee to bondi for lunch/beers would be a lovely way to pass a beautiful september day.

I like the idea of a picnic in the botanical gardens!
