Digital Camera's

ok ive narrowed my budget and selection down to the following 2 camera's

Canon Powershot G6
and
Sony DSC V3

Id really like the Nikon D70 or even D50 but my $$$ doesnt stretch that far

ive been to dpreview.com and they rate the Sony quite well but ive never been a fan of sony cameras.Canon are top shelf but why is the G6 usb 1.1 ?
anyway
does anyone have feedback on these 2 cameras ?

What memory cards does the canon take??

You can always buy a memory card reader thats usb2.0 and use that to strip the photos. (personally i recommend this as it doesnt use the cameras batteries.)

After reviewing many different cameras for work and personally owning a G5, any type of Canon model is hard to pass up.
I have seen that particular Sony model and I don't rate it highly. IMHO, I think Sony's are more style over substance.... but those are just my thoughts.

As Drakin said, get a memory card reader to transfer your files across, much easier :)
The battery life of the Canon's rock as well. I traveled for a month through Europe and only had to recharge once.
What memory cards does the canon take??

When I went to buy a bag for it, you should have seen the look on the guys face in the camera store when I told him how much I got it for. He exclaimed that he worked in a camera shop and even HE couldn't get a that good a discount.
