I would post a link to the SA thread about not using the tags, but since I am not a member I don't have search access.
Basically, the spoiler tags were being used for completely stupid reasons, things were being hidden that didn't need to be and just pissed a lot of people off.
If there is a way to limit the usage to certain forums then it would be good, but I don't think it is really required in General and such.

Well hows about just turning them on for movies/tv forum, outside of that I don't give a fuck.
That way people can talk about the movie/show in open discussion and not worry about accidently telling everyone that just like his son Luke, Darth Vader was a complete pussy in his younger days.
Or that in the next movie all the Jedia cept Obi and Yoda die.
Oh toes.

Pinger and TK-421 can go fuck each other. Seriously. Throw themselves naked onto a queen size bed and give each other homosexual bum sex.

Shame not everyone uses the same theme and that doesn't work when being quoted.

Upgrade from DimGray to #333333 for quotes.
Of course it's all completely fucked when it comes to alternate themes.
