They look borked to anyone else? I've checked a few user profiles and each one the photo is really badly pixellated with bright blue squares and shit all through them. I've taken a screenie of my pic. You can just make out the pic if you look hard enough. I've tried re-uploading before and it hasn't made a difference.

it happens to a lot of profiles from what i have seen. i think there must be something in the send out to the computers. maybe too much load.

It happened to mine during the server upgrade, so I assumed it was simply corrupt. But if this is still happening, and it is browser agnostic. Then I believe it's in the rendering. Cause some peoples work, on both IE and FireFox. Does the code automagically compress or resize them? Maybe people who submitted perfectly sized images, didn't get borked while the lazy of us did. Food for code.

It happened to a lot of avatars at the time of the server move. For the corrupt profile pics - have they been changed since the server move? Are you uploading a file with the same name? Try using a completely different picture and see if that allows you to fix it.

Same thing happened to me as well... I just re-named the pic and uploaded it again. Problem solved :)
