Woah. A thread necro I agree with.
Favourite brew of the moment is Mountain Pale Ale. But I'll drink Horsey beer or Crownies if they're all thats available. Gone right off VB unfortunately.

Loving James Squire currently.... the Porter is awesome and the bright Ale is also something special. I miss winter Cask Ales :(

Grumblefish brought me back some beer from China that was either Tsingtao or Bintang. It was horrible. Just as well the customs officers in Hong Kong confiscated five of the six cans.

They do a magic Pilsner. So do Matilda Bay for that matter.

Agreed and suitable for celiacs (no spell check, sorry) as it is made from rice not barely (I'm pretty sure, consult your doctor first)

i was recently in Beechworth and I went to the Bridge Road Brewery there. They have some of the best beers I have tasted in recent times, the Australian Ale, Bavarian Wheat, and their Belgium style beers are superb.

It was a while ago, but I think it was a Hong Kong brand, not QingDao (which is from up north). I don't really remember, though.
Anyway, when drinking beer in China I usually go with QingDao.

Who is making the Blonde over there? The one that Paris came out to promote? Is it any good? Cascade breweries here are making a pretty decent beer labelled as Blonde too. Another nice one is made by the local winery Morilla called Moo Brew. Both worth a try if you guys see them over that way at all.

Is that Cascade's Summer Blonde? I drank it back when it was a 'limited edition'.
Had a James Squire Amber Ale on Friday. Good enough that I bought 6 more yesterday.

Young's Double Chocolate Stout. Luxury in a bottle. The combination of chocolate and beer is amazingly drinkable.
agreed!

Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES try Miller's Chill... that stuff tastes like A Corona with Lime AFTER it's been filtered through several syphilitic winos.
Seriously, it has a manky aftertaste that starts as soon as it hits your mouth.
We bought it coz our old man said it was nice... evil, evil old man.

I'm not convinced about Beez Neez, honey beer. Honey as beer, mmmm, nah, it's wrong.

I have often found IPA's to be a little overpowering, very strong flavours.

Millers substitutes dishwater very well, otherwise it's useless.

Adelscott is the best beer in the world, even if it is French.
