Along with the buzz-making news that it was bringing Intel inside its computers, Apple touted the fact that it would deliver the two-millionth copy of its new operating system, Tiger, by the end of this week.
The next version of Mac OS X, said Apple chief executive Steve Jobs -- dubbed "Leopard" -- would roll out about the time Microsoft's Longhorn was scheduled to ship.
Wasn't Longhorn trying to catch up to Tiger with its Avalon graphics engine????
