User Interface Designer:
BLive Networks is seeking an experienced software UI designer with a proven track record of success and extensive previous experience developing standard Windows applications. This person would be responsible for re-designing the UI of our current software application, BLive, and will work closely with Product Management, Customer Service, Sales and Marketing to ascertain the best user focused design. A background in design is preferred. Candidates should have a portfolio of previous design work with a minimum of 3 previously designed software application UIs available for viewing. Previous experience in virtual office environments is a definite asset. Candidates will need to work in their own fully operational environments. Please note, this is a contract position the terms and parameters of which will be discussed during the interview process.
Required Skills:
1. A minimum of 5 years experience in UI design.
2. A minimum of 3 software application designs in use for other clients and/or proven experience updating and/or revising the usability of software applications.
3. A background in UI design, interaction design, usability or technical communication.
4. Excellent communication skills.
5. The ability to work with a dispersed team.
6. Strong creativity.
7. Experience with and strong understanding of standard Windows UI design rules.
8. Proven track record of successful and in use UI designs.
Additional Information:
This is a telecommuting opportunity. Applicants will be working from their home offices. Occasional travel may be required within the US and Canada.
