These days, working for most of the US Airlines means one of two things:
-Either being told you have to take a pay cut to keep your job
or
-Walking a picket line.
I know that the European airlines, and the Asian especially are doing better, but the theory is that they too are not far behind on the down curve economically.

To be honest I reckon it would be a pretty shit job.

Try to think of the last long haul flight you took. Try to imagine having to walk up and down being perky and nice to rude fuckwit passengers for 20 hours. Its like the worlds worst helldesk. Sure you get to go to other countries but how knackered are you after a long haul flight. You wouldn't want to do anything.
