It was a dark and stormy night, and the clock had just struck 12, when suddenly, Albus Dumbledore stepped on an anti-personnel land mine. For Dumbledore, it was the end.
I haven't read a single Harry Potter book nor do I intend to but these alternative takes (http://books.guardian.co.uk/potter/page/0,13381,1521782,00.html) written in the styles of different authors (Pratchett, Poe, Joyce...) are rather amusing.
Check them out or post your own adaptation here.
P.S. I don't have any idea whether this Dumbledore fellow really dies or not but in case this thread spoiled the book for you: lolowned. Try to read more adults' books.
