I'm looking for a web host that is going to be reliable and, of course, not too expensive - although I value reliable above expense as it is for a business.

The site will have relatively high upload/download bandwidth issues.

I see a lot of companies, but I'm looking for testimonials.

hmmm so no-one has ANY input whatsoever on any webhosting companies? btw Colonel Kurtz, thanks for the link but given what mcnish is asking for I'd say they'd be wanting to choose someone who has more control over their racks, etc.

From intial investigation it seems that 1337.as is just a reseller of someone offshore company's services (more than likely WebCentral)

1337.as is good and last I knew Pirate uses it ... it handles the bandwidth for this site fine and it's not expensive
