Making your own Superannuation Fund

Has anyone got any experience in making their own super fund and using the money to invest in property/shares? I know that people have done it in the past and im interested in doing the same.

Any advice would be great. ++ rep.

This is really a financial plasnning issue and does not strictly belong in the Law Forum.

That aside I do know that it can be hellaciously difficult keeping up with the SIS Act Regs etc applicable to super funds so tread carefully and take your accountant and/or financial planner along for the ride.
