How many multiple orgasms can we have?

Wow... its so hard to decide.

I like number 9.... Cause lights at night always look for me like those streetlaps do in that pic.

*edit* oooh, multiple voting allowed!

9 and 10

Its to hard to decide which of the two is better, but after some ponderng and a beer i think Last 15 Seconds (10) has someone that Nite Visions doesnt. Best of luck to everyone.

Well done to you all, Long Exposure to the Sun was my favourite.

While I like that photo, the EXIF data says it was a 1/500th of a second exposure time.. not what I'd call a long exposure.

Of course, EXIF data can be wrong - I've seen various image editing software screw things up very badly.

dammit! i didnt realise there was multiple voting allowed! otherwise i would have put it in for the multiple personality one too! that was really clever!

I enjoyed them all - Well done! (I wanted to vote for all of them, but what's the point in doing that - someone has to win!)

(been awat for a few days)

The long exposure this shot is referring to is *not* the shutter speed, but the subject itself. ie the flowers have endure a long exposure to the sun. At least thats how I interpreted it.

(no, its not my shot).

Will post up the owners of each photo tonight hopefully.

Well done to the winners.

Well done winners!

My shot was Starry Night, it was taken on a full moon in my girlfriends backyard.

It was taken on Fuji Provia 100F 35mm film at f/5.6 for somewhere around the 8 to 10 minute mark. It is some sort of Autumn tree (lit by the moonlight) in the foreground, hense the reddish colours comming through in the leaves. Here is a pic from another angle. you can see the moon just starting to enter the top of the fram in this one.

This month clouds at night was the pick for me.

Multiple personalities was an interesting concept as well.

Well done everyone.

47 votes, thats crap, if I had remembered I would have put another plug on the front page but I'm all over the place like a mad woman taking a shit lately.
I reckon they all are prety good shots regardless of the long exposure or not. I thought PacPix was pretty clever, thinking a bit different there.
8-10 minutes! Wow thats massive exposure!

Yes, I was meant to ask you to post on the front page - forget (have been away since monday). My bad.

This month clouds at night was the pick for me.
Clouds at night was my photo, click on the thumbnail for the full size (not the 1024 in the contest) image.

http://gallery.shakesbeare.com/albums/night/IMG_0499.thumb.jpg (http://gallery.shakesbeare.com/night/IMG_0499?full=1)

Photo details.. Canon EOS350D with EF-S 18-55 kit lens, 30 second exposure at ISO200 and F/4.5, 18mm focal length (28mm for 35mm film equiv). There was no wind at ground level, but had fast moving reasonably low clouds. Taken in my back yard, same position as last month's water droplets photo, just facing a different direction.

I liked your starshot photo. I attempted something similar - I just wish I had the remote control (it's on back-order...), as the dodgy setup I had kept falling off the shutter button

Well done to the winner.

Regarding long exposure to the sun.. silly me, I didn't think of that!

i took nite visions, thanks to all who voted.

it was shot looking upthe marylebone flyover, right next to paddington green where all the terroristos are being held. i looked like a real reporter with my tripod next to all the news crews doing their nightly reports there. i tried to get a side angle up the motorway and it kind of worked, maybe the hilton in the background is a bit disturbing.

heres the shots from the other side of the flyover.

I did the PacPix. I experimented with lighter for a while but burned my fingers so I went and got a torch, stuck a cd over it with bluetac and drew pacman and foe in a dark room. I then went and flicked on the light for a few seconds to nuke me out of the picture and light the background.

This was an experiment only a few days after I got a camera that would even do long exposure and I didn't have time to go out and set up the shot I wanted to. I was going to take the shot looking down on a carpark with some bins for dots and a toilet paper maze.

My photo was Multiple Personality.

It was taken when a few mates came over after the footy. We had a few drinks before heading out to a bar. The photos were taken when we were all slightly intoxicated. :)

Photo was a 193 second exposure (using a remote with a camera in bulb mode - the shutter was locked open allowing me to walk away from the camera) at f/8 at ISO400 on a Canon 10d using a 28-135 IS Canon lens set to 28mm. I had the subject move around (within frame) to various locations and pose. I would then 'flash' him with a Canon 550EX speedlight from various angles.

The background is lit up (including the sky) due to the long exposure. The various images of the same person appear when the intense light of the speedlight (flash) illuminates him (in ambient light its too dark to see him). It was quite a dark night.

Didnt quite come out as I wanted. Plus the background was shocking (fence etc). But was fun and I know better for next time.

Oh, and +rep to anyone who can work out how many times he (Scott) appears in my shot!

This was a practice shot for what was to be my entry. I wanted to go back and have her holding out a pizza box while she took a piece out from the other side, or pouring something from a bottle into a glass the 'other' her was holding out. But we never got back to take the shots so no entry from me:(

Good to see some new user names amongst the entries this month.
It would be cool if you all posted here to tell us how or why you got your shot.
It also makes it a lot easier to rep you all as well.;)

I took "Last 15 seconds" .. I wasn't going to enter, then I left it to the last minute on the last night .. that was the last location I was in from a few areas I had scouted out earlier in the month when I was looking for inspiration.. it was really cold and I was all in black on a railway bridge with lots of cars passing and sussing me out - I looked really dodgy in a not so good spot.. I had to wait for a train and last 15 seconds more to get that shot..

I was using a Samsung Digimax V4 which I had on 15 second exp f5.6, spot metering and cloudy effect using my bendy mini tripod ..

Well done to all entries .. good luck next month!

EDIT REASON : Surpressed memory came back :p

My entry was a picture I took on a hot summer day. I thought it hit the theme of July perfectly until "someone" made some exposure rule =P. I appreciate the positive comments and FYI I've searched Zgeek for photos and many are now my screensaver.

As I said earlier.. I like your photo, it's just not what I was expecting for "long exposure" in a photography contest.

Don't let me deter you from submitting a b00bies photo for this month's contest :D
