And i have to say that (after a little teething), it's good to be back. I've missed a lot of things about OSX, and it's nice to be seeing them again.
I got a Mac Mini ($949 configuration) and an Airport Express, and am looking forward to sleeping to my MP3s without being in the same room as the machine.

Congrats on your new machine! My friend has a mac mini, you dont really get just how small and quiet they are until you see one in person.
Now he's trying to find a bluetooth version of everything to hook to the damn thing ;)

There is a definite temptation to use as many gizmos as you can :) I couldn't resist buying an airport express. Definitely going to move as much of the home network to wireless in the next few months.
I had one major glitch. When I first used iSync on my phone, I didn't have anything in the Address Book, and somehow managed to wipe my phone's contact list. Was very unimpressed, but managed to recover 90% by extracting ThunderBird's adressbook from my windoze box. :stab:
Man, it'll be good to give that the final shut down. Until then, though, there's always VNC. :D

I read that while surfing the web or using the computer you get interference with music playing from the computer (obviously itunes). Has anyone had this problem.

Not in common usage. If you absolutely thrash the CPU or I/O then you can get stuttering (just like if you kicked off a CPU-intensive graphics render or something on Windows at a higher priority than WinAMP).

I wouldn't mind a Mac for doing work on. However for games I'm sticking to PC.

True enough, but I don't play games much anymore, and the ones that I do are generally available on xbox (which I have). It's a good enough trade for me.

I'm new to Mac... I just purchased a Mac Mini. For the first day or two I was like "Jesus Christ, Mac sucks..." but once I got accustomed to it and became more comfortable with it, I've come to like it better than Windows.

Mac Haters do not belong in a Mac Forum, if you have nothing constructive to add to the conversation about Macs go back trolling the Pr0n forum.
You've obviously used up your quota of poly-sylabic words today.
To add something constructive, please give feedback about the Mac Mini's i am very interested in purchasing one myself. In addition to my titanium Powerbook

the mini's are awesome i got mine as soon as they came out, so i have the cdrw version which is fine for me as i dont do dvd's how ever the only problem is that it doesn't have buffer under run protection. also they hardly use any electricity and are deathly silent.

I have a mini... just out of curiosity, do you know how much power they use as compared to your average PC?
Hahaha i love it how every time a mac fanboy reads this thread for the first time they send a -rep my way. It's funny to me... but you guys take this way too seriously.
