Ok my buddy told me to take this issue to the fight club forum so hopefully this doesn't upset any other touchy moderators (or whatever the hell position asskisser holds on this website!)

911 WAS NECESSARY for the Bush regime in order to pursue the Iraq war plan. Iraq HAS no ties to al qeada yet the "harboring terrorists" wording and false information sure made it look like they were buddy-buddy. So in combination with 911 and the "fear of weapons of mass destruction" we are now over 2 years deep into a war that was planned WAY before Bush even took office. Even an attack like 911 was planned years ago, research both The Downing Street Memo and the Northwood Documents.

But this isn't just about Bush and never has been from the beginning of my posts. This is about a worldwide conspiracy of the Federal Reserve, the Rothschild family, the Rockefellers, the Vatican, blah blah YES it does sound a bit much like the Da Vinci Code I'm not making this stuff up. Just because you didn't read about it in your history class doesn't mean it didn't happen!!

I have given many references and even offered to SHIP SOMEONE a few documentaries on my own dime!!

So my point being, if I choose to start a new thread about something RELATED to 911, ESPECIALLY if it's put in the CORRECT FORUM, I shouldn't be threatened by a moderator for any reason. in my opinion

I have to agree with nibls66 to a degree, though a small one. Any credibility that the initial argument had initially was pissed away though by the delivery. In my opinion, you don't take a battle public unless you have tried all the other channels, and if they failed, spent some time trying to figure out why. Certainly posting a PM that may or may not have other context is out of line. For all we know or don't know, you have gotten 30 PM's previously from AKG asking politely that you cool it. Looking at AKG's previous posts and behaviors, I'd bet on that.

While all those definitions of "Forum" are valid, none of them specifically apply here as this forum has a collective ruleset that changes frequently. Sometimes the changes are subtle, sometimes they are severe and abrupt.

This rather reminds me of a 300 level marketing class I was in once where the goal of the presentation was to persuade class members to do something. I chose to launch a campaign to "Let 'em starve" based on reasoning why industrialized nations should not send money and individuals should not "adopt" all these starving 3rd world children. I backed the argument solidly and used sound rationale. In the end, most of the class was pissed at me, but many agreed. The teacher flunked me, writing that the "presentation and delivery were A+ but the topic matter was F" I took it to the Deans and won. I sure as Hell didn't stand there in the class and argue with the Prof.

We don't like some (or much) of what other members post for our own personal reasonings. Be they taste, morality, national pride or a sheer distaste for excessive stupidity, people post what they will. Whether we respond or not is the individual's choice. Whether we read it or not can be easily dealt with. Unless we get into an over governed state, what an individual posts should be left untouched except for infractions of the Forum's rules. An example of that is an inappropriate avatar or a sig with technically problematic content, or if the actual content of the post is absolutely over the line of reason, it shouldn't be maligned.

Mods are to my understanding supposed to govern my minimal influence. When an inappropriate action is done by a poster I would expect a PM from a mod saying "Hey, that's uncool, fix it". If that doesn't work, then by all means the Mod is free to act. I have to think that numerous posts that are rooted in the same topic matter should be grouped, and merged if necessary. Topic matter not being an issue.

If someone has a problem with the actions of a mod and wants to lodge a complaint, it's their business. Not the kind of topic that should be aired as a public thread. The issue should be documented and sent to the proper authority, Pirate himself. If he feels it is a problem, he'll deal with it. If not, well at most you've lost $15 for your subscription and stop posting.

I think that the EULA of ZGeek sums it up well, (paraphrase) If you don't like it, fuck off.

I missed the thread incident that you mentioned.

As for the "discussing mods in public" issue, I actually agree with you. I was being more "in a perfect world" about that and using the theory that you don't argue with the teacher in front of the class. Not out of respect, but because that is a sure way to lose. That and I prefer to try and resolve matters privately before making them shit-fight public, and have serious issues with using PM's and other 1 on 1 communications publicly. I'd rather lure someone into a public contest and let them do themselves in to everyone. Or, make an ass out of myself publicly... which I have been know to do on occasion. :aah:
I have always thought that the "right" way to moderate a forum like this would be with individual mods operating on a loose rule structure, and a rotating panel of 3 that settle larger issues should they arise.

Would you believe I'm actually getting married in less than a year? Your assumption in thinking I sit in a room somewhere and only think about 911 is where we need to start over. After 3 years of researching with a whole community of people (google 911 truth and you get 5 million websites) it is my opinion that 911 HAD to be an inside job of sorts. If anything we atleast LET 911 happen but if you accept this as a possibility than you should take step further and look into the big picture. This is about organized religion as a smoke and mirror to keep the world seperated and fighting amongst ourselves. The bible is a story book that has been re-written with parts removed and others added to help the vatican agenda. THE VATICAN along with the rothschilds and rockefellers have owned the banking system and has controlled every war for the last couple hundred years.

I'm not just spewing out random bullshit ideas. These are ACTUAL FACTS that you can research for yourself!! The BIG picture includes the worlds blind eye to ufo's, ghosts, and conspiracy theories. All of which DO EXIST but as you all know to bring up any of these subjects you are automatically put into a Tin Foil Hat category which is complete bullshit. Well I'm sure I'll get a lot of shit for all the stuff said here, but my point was to just show that there IS another side to the world we live in. I was going to recommend to Pirate that he be temp banned for repeatedly trying to circumvent a moderators ruling. I had given him notice before with both public and private messages not to make more threads on the same subject. I even held it to a vote if he should be allowed to make another thread about 9/11 conspiracies and as I anticipated the vote came back no. Realistically, there are as many pieces of evidence that 9/11 wasn't so much as staged, but allowed to happen by the sheer ineptidude of the US "intelligence" groups and a few people that saw it as an opportunity and a means to their ends. It is quite similar in that regard to the Pearl Harbor incident, only on a more grand and insidious level.

I say all of that unapologetically, as I understand that you are happy in your position of ignorance and apathy. That is fine with me really as I have realized that of the World's population there will never be more than a couple percent that have their heads out of their asses at any given time on any given topic.
