Most of the stories on the internet are completely untrue. These creatures are not dangerous to humans. But, dangerous or not, these creatures are horrifying to encounter. I pity anyone who encounters one for the first time.

spiders are cool. My grade 5-6 teacher kept a tarantula in our classroom (in it's own little glass cage, of course). I just wish she'd let me feed it once.
