Ok, so i've had a request for these activities. :)
Considering I won't be able to make it to these and Pirate's Picnic o' Doom, someone's going to have to be a team captain and help me out.
If you want to go, here's the place to say so, if you know where the best places are, ditto.
I just need to know who wants to go to what, what time, and if at all possible, where so I can post it all here :D

AMF Bowling is pretty good. :)

AMF usually have glowy type bowling on Saturdays too. Bookings for big groups are a good idea (and on weekends they get pretty busy). Damn kids :p

Putt Putt wise there's a few in Sydney.

I've only been to the one in West Ryde. They have 3 courses there, Jungle, Water and Fun and they usually have a webpage but it's down at the moment (should be www.puttputt.com.au).

I gave them a call and I found out some stuff :)

Cost:

1 course = $12
2 courses = $16
All 3 courses = $20
(includes balls, putters, scorecards etc)

If the group is over 10 people we need to book and will get a discount on the cost (We will only pay $15 for 3 games each) :)

Yeah, the Ryde one is pretty good :) Not too expensive either in comparison to bowling which is over $20 per person for 3 games. I do like 10-pin bowling though, i must say. ;)

Ryde putt putt is good, pain in the arse to get to. Fox studios putt putt is shit. Narabeen is too far away.

I can recommend the bowling at Mascot, they sell beers and have a video jukebox. We need beers.

Anything that I can't really do in Melbourne is good, and the cheaper the better. Mostly I'll be there for the people thoughm so were the people go, so shall I go.

I always find that putt-putt is one of those things that's fun for about half a course and then you get bored with it, but then I do have a short attention hey look shiny things.

Yes when I chatted with Pirate and Cassa and others the general idea for saturday was to picnic into the afternoon then start the drinking down oxford st so we can point out aussie trannies to our guests ;)
But if you want to go bowling thats alllll good :nods:

I won't be at the picnic so not sure what time you're looking at finishing up but I was thinking bowelling at about 3:30pm. Just so the people who want to go drinking on the Saturday night don't miss out. :)

So far if the majority of people are coming bowelling from the picnic I was thinking Randwick since it's close to the park and it'll be easier for people to head out with the others drinking afterwards. :)

There's also bowling at Fox Studios (Right next door to the park) but there's only 2 lanes and you can't book. They have pool tables and a bar so we won't be bored if we have to wait but there's always the chance they'll be too busy for us to play there.

I've never had to wait more than 30mins for a lane so I'm just giving people the option :)
I can check it out on the way to the park on Saturday and see how busy they are if that suits people. I'm probably going to swing by the picnic and pick up any out of towners in the car (well astro will) for bowling to help out. :)

So yeah.... I guess put it down for 3:30pm at Randwick for now but I'll see if we can grab a lane at Fox Studios b/c it's closer. I hope that all made sense. :p

OK I've made a booking for 12 people. (That's 2 lanes but I can get more/less space if we need it) We don't have to pay a booking fee, just for the cost of the game:

1 game - $13
2 games - $19
3 games - $22.50
These prices all include shoe hire.

The booking's been made for 3:30pm. I have a few people coming here with cars beforehand so if someone needs a lift PM me and I'll see what I can arrange. :)

Also since the picnic is going ahead, if someone needs a lift from there to bowling please PM me so we know to stop by and pick you up from Centennial Park. :)
