I hear ya. Mine tends to fall either on Labour Day or on the weekend thereof so apart from dwindling family and friends, it generally passes in anonymity. Whereas co-workers tend to get cakes and cards at work for theirs - not that I'd be into that shit anyway.

I had my first ever warm birthday this year. It's in August, and is ALWAYS raining in Melbourne, finally here in Vancouver it was hot!

But August isn't the best time cos of Uni, that's when first assignments of 2nd semester were always due...
