Monday Excursion of Krispy Kremes

Hey Guys,

I will be in Sydney between 11th and 13th of September - just overlapping with the zMeet. I am proposing for those that are still in Sydney on the Monday (12th) that we have the excursion of Krispy Kremes.

I propose that we meet at Central Station, just near the Hungry Jack's there, at midday and head towards Wynyard Station (where I have heard on good advice that there is a Krispy Kremes) and we spend an hour or two feeding our faces.

I think if you are going to make an excursion out of it, you are better to head to any other KK than Wynard.

The Wynard one doesn't actually have any seating, so you'll have to grapple for seats in the nearby park.

If you can get hold of a car, you should plan an excursion to the original KK at Penrith. Not only can you watch the donut machine in all its glory, sit in a big booth, you get the added bonus of being able to observe the native wildlife as they flit between their daylight feeding frenzy rituals at Panthers and Macca's.

Orange Grove (Liverpool)
Panthers (Penrith)
Sydney Domestic Airport

These ones have proper seating, drive throughs, etc.

And there are KK outlets in Wynyard and Sydney International Airport

Personally, I'd recommend catching train to Wynyard, as the store is much closer to there than Central.

We meet at Central at Midday on Monday the 12th of September. Outside of the Hungry Jack's store. I believe there's only one there, but just so that we know which one it's the one right near the pub and the newsagent (near the Elizabeth St. entrance I think).

We head over to Wynyard station and buy megafuckloads of Krispy Kremes.

We make a decision as to whether we find parkland to munch on in Wynyard or whether we go somewhere else.

We munch. And munch. And munch. And talk about geeky things. And munch. And talk. And socialise. And scare all the little kiddies. :assfire:

We then work out what we're going to do from there.
