90% of American teenagers I have eavesdropped on, be it the bus, be it the pub, consistently use the words 'like' and 'you know' at least 2 - 3 times a sentence when describing something. That's fine. I don't mind hearing it every once in a blue moon but unfortuantly that's not the case, this shit has infiltrated Australian teens like a horse that's dating mr hands.

I tried beating it out of my girlfriend with a brick and some loose change but she still insists on watching shitty American teenage Reality TV shows on channels such as MTV which in turn fuels her 'Like'. Reality TV shows are the breeding grounds for these terrible phrases. You can compare most of the participants to the likes of your average 14 year old AOL'er. For example MTV's The Real World, sHe iS LiKe sO U kNow sOoOo sKanKy ugH! I WaNt TodD He Is likE OMG SO HOT! That's exactely how they talk and if you don't agree I hope you get raped by a 47 year old AIDS victim on your way home from the tanning salon. Fag.

I'm not safe from this anymore. NO ONE IS SAFE. It's been here for years and it's going to be for generations unless we act now! TAKE ACTION! Next time you hear that 16 year old blonde princess liking it up, smash that bitch in the face with a swift backhand. Don't worry about Johhny Law, explain it to him. He will listen and he will understand. They know these things but there just isn't enough Law enforcement in the world to stop this disgusting plague. Go TEAM! Put a stop to it, one teen at a time.

Note: It probably seems like i'm picking on Americans today, but i'm not. I'm picking on fellow Aussies for regurgitating this crap.

I fucking hate that shit!

My 18 year old stepson talks like that. He only listens to rap and walks around with his fucking jeans below his arse, the stupid little fucker couldn't get anymore white, it just makes him look like a retard with his hat on sideways.

The whole reality TV thing is getting my goat as well, its like so crap, like so many people think its like sic but I'm like no way!

Fuckers....kill em all I say.

He nearly did a few weeks ago, trying to come at me with that fucked up hand thing they do, the whole flatten your hands and throw them out at weird angles hard to explain but just watch a rap video, it kind of backfired on him when I didn't back down, such a tool.

On a plus note with regards to the whole jeans below the arse thing, I did watch this fat kid go arse over tit down an embankment because his baggy jeans dropped to the floor and he tripped over them, its moments like those you need Minties.

no, sorry.

and not fizzle either. whizz and fizz are fine, as long as they are said together, and with no izzle attached to the end.

In a few years I'll have acquired my degree and will be well on my way to attaining a position as an English teacher. Every kid who speaks like a complete moron in class is getting an F for participation.

If you cannot speak properly in my class than you cannot speak in my class!

Changing the world one idiot at a time.

The times move on, as does the modern parlance. As much as you might not like the hep new jive daddy-o, its here for keeps.

The one REAL concern you should have, is that really, im sure that you are kind of curious, if not a little miffed that things have moved on without you. Now ya feel old.

Well suck it up. The times they are a changin' and will CONTINUE to change. You can change with them, or watch the whole world move on as you complain that kids dont use the same 'cool' words you did when listening to Nirvana and saying 'rad' all the time.

The problem with the youth of today is that they haven't grown up yet.

Don't forget the ancient Chinese mode of teaching: The hand of knowledge.
That's when you smack them upside the head in an attempt to jar loose the words that you're sure are there but they just can't make it out...
